JCC, The Shattered Shield: The Soviet Cabinet vs. The Republics, 1989

It’s 1989, and the Soviet Union has never looked more divided. Members of the CPSU (Communist Party of the Soviet Union) bicker about internal strategies, glasnost, peresroika, and demokratizatsiya. Some in the cabinet are even disloyal to President Gorbachev. In the republics some push for autonomy or complete independence, while others are angling themselves for leadership of the Soviet Union. The future of the largest nation, and strongest land power in the world is up for grabs. Who will seize it?
